Retainer,Payment,Cancellation, and Rescheduling Policies

Retainer policy

All lifestyle newborn, family and maternity sessions require a $250 non-refundable retainer with remaining balance due on your scheduled session date. All milestone, mini sessions and seasonal mini sessions are due within 7 days of scheduling your session and act as your retainer. Your retainer locks in current rates and is due within 7 days of booking. This fee covers time, reserved session date, and all guides © of Heather Butler Photography. If retainer is not received within 7 days, your session date may be removed from my calendar. Payments accepted via cash or Paypal (Paypal accepts all major credit cards).

Payment Policy

Remaining balance is due on your scheduled session date.  If a session date has been rescheduled then the remaining balance will be due on the new session date.  If the remaining balance is not paid I have the right to withhold your viewing gallery until payment is received. Your private on-line gallery will only remain on-line for 7 days. If your gallery expires and no orders have been placed or you have not downloaded your images a $10 reactivation fee may apply.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

You reserve the right to reschedule any photography session with at least one week’s notice at no additional fee. Rescheduling within one week of your session’s date may incur additional fees ($25 per occurrence), per my discretion. If you cancel more than twice, there will be no further appointments made. At this point you have the right to sell or transfer your scheduled session date to another party.  If you choose to cancel your session and not reschedule or sell you will forfeit your paid session retainer.

I reserve the right to reschedule any session due to personal illness, personal emergency, or inclement weather. In these instances, there will be no additional charge associated to rescheduling.
